It depends on the size of the area, the condition of the concrete and the system you choose, so every floor is priced on its own. A sound slab needs less preparation than one with cracks or old coatings to remove, and flake, metallic and polyaspartic finishes each price differently. Send through the rough measurements and a photo of the concrete as it is now, and we'll come back with a free quote for your floor rather than a guess.
Most garage floors run over more than one day, because grinding, repairs, each coat and the cure time all need their own window. The exact timeline depends on the size of the garage, the state of the slab and the system going down. We'll talk you through the timing for your floor before any work starts, including when you can walk on it and when the car can go back in.
They're different finishes and systems, each suited to different spaces. A flake floor has coloured chips broadcast through it, giving a speckled finish that's forgiving on dust and everyday wear. Metallic epoxy uses pigments that settle into a glossy, marbled look. Polyaspartic coatings generally cure faster than standard epoxy and hold up better in sunlight, which is why they're often chosen for outdoor areas or as a topcoat.
