Stop the water sitting there
Water sitting on a floor is more than an annoyance. In a kitchen or wash-down area it's a hygiene and slip problem. On a patio or in a garage it stains, collects grime and finds its way where it shouldn't.
The fix is a proper fall: a gentle slope that sends water to the drain instead of letting it pond. Falls are usually built up with screed over the existing slab, shaped to the drain positions, then coated so the whole floor is sealed and easy to clean.
Getting falls right starts with measuring the floor as it is and working out where the water needs to go. If a drain itself is in the wrong spot, we'll tell you early so it can be sorted before the floor goes down.

Why does water pool on my floor?
Usually because the floor was laid flat or out of level, the slab has moved over time, or the drain sits higher than the floor around it.
Can you add falls to an existing floor?
Yes. Falls are usually built up with screed over the existing slab, shaped to the drains, then coated as one finished floor.
Will I notice the slope?
A fall only has to be gentle to move water, so in most spaces you won't notice it underfoot.
