That's exactly where standard epoxy struggles, because it can yellow and chalk in direct sunlight. Polyaspartic holds its colour in UV, and its fast cure means an outdoor area is back in use sooner, either as the full system or as the topcoat over a flake floor.
Sand carried up from the beach is abrasive, and wet feet need grip, so outdoor floors near the water usually want some texture in the finish too. We'll suggest the right level for your spot.

Sun, water and traffic decide how the system is built and how much grip it needs.

Grind & repair
The slab is opened up and repaired so the coating bonds to sound concrete.

Base & flake
A base coat goes down, with flake broadcast through it if that's the finish you've chosen.

Polyaspartic coat
The polyaspartic goes on as the full system or as the topcoat, with texture added for wet areas.
- 05
Back in use
You'll get realistic timing for foot traffic and vehicles, based on the product and the weather on the day.

Is polyaspartic a good choice for a beachside patio?
It's one of the most common choices for sun-exposed outdoor concrete, because it resists UV yellowing better than standard epoxy and cures quickly. Wet, sandy feet also need grip, so we'd look at texture in the finish as well.
How soon can we use the patio again?
Generally sooner than with standard epoxy. Exact timing depends on the product, the number of coats and the temperature on the day, so we'll give you real timeframes for your job.
